Deepika Padukone laughs out on Kapil Sharma’s gig over his lockdown baby; ‘Woh produce kar liya joh hum kar sakte the’
Comedian Kapil Sharma will soon host the cast of Gehraiyaan in The Kapil Sharma Show including actors Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Dhairya Karva and Ananya Panday. A teaser shared by Sony Entertainment Television shows host Kapil Sharma singing Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna for Deepika after he warmly embraces her and welcomes her to his show. The latest episode shows Kapil making fun of being idle during the lockdown and having a son Trishaan. In the promo, Kapil was seen flirting with Deepika and teasing her about her marriage to Ranveer Singh. Talking about Kapil, Deepika told Archana Puran Singh, “Sir toh kab ke aage badh gaye. (Sir has moved on).”
Kapil responded, “Aap log toh lockdown mein itni saari filmein bana rahe the, main toh bilkul free tha, isliye humne bhi woh produce kar liya jo hum kar sakte the (You people were making films during the lockdown. But I was free. So, I produced what I could.)” Kapil was referring to becoming a father again during the coronavirus-induced nationwide lockdown. His response left everyone rolling with laughter.

Kapil also sang ‘Humein Tumse Pyaar Kitna’ for Deepika as she walked on the stage.
Gehraiyaan is directed by Shakun Batra. The film stars Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddharth Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karva. Yash Raj Productions is scheduled to release on February 11 on Amazon Prime.
