After Irrfan Khan, it’s now the veteran actor Rishi Kapoor who passed away today late last night, he was 67. The actor was admitted at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai, while he was having the treatment for his cancer ailment, his wife and brother Randhir Kapoor were there with him to confirm the news about the same. Also, his co-actor Amitabh Bachchan was quick to confirm this news on the Microblogging site called Twitter.
He announced the news on his Twitter account saying, he is gone, check what he said as under:
T 3517 – He’s GONE .. ! Rishi Kapoor .. gone .. just passed away ..
I am destroyed !

The moment the B Town realised, they also started reacting as they were not away from the sad news of Irrfan Khan and now see the veteran actor – Rishi Kapoor also losing his life on the very next day. Akshay Kumar called it a nightmare calling the news as depressing and heartbreaking. Even the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also tweeted saying that the week has been terrible for B Town with two big stars passing away. He called the late actor a fabulous person and competent man who will be missed away.
Rishi Kapoor was admitted at the said hospital and his elder brother Randhir has confirmed about it. He informed the media that the late actor was facing some health issues and hence was admitted yesterday in the early hours. Like Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor was also diagnosed with cancer and he was admitted in 2018 in New York. He was there for around nine months for his treatment and then returned last year.
