As the actor Sushant Singh Rajput celebrates his big day today, we also hear a news that his upcoming movie Rifleman seems to have gone into a legal trouble. The makers of the film 72 Hours: Martyr Who Never Died claimed that they have the original rights of the movie and they have the plans to make a film on the life of rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat. The director while talking to the media in Mumbai informed the same. The film is produced by Prashil Rawat who also present with his lawyer Mr. Nagesh Mishra at the press conference. The film’s producer Prashil Rawat, and lawyer Nagesh Mishra were also present in the press briefing.
We saw Sushant Singh Rajput announcing about his film on 15th Jan 2019, which is also celebrate as Army Day. He announced with his Twitter handle informing that he has become the part of the said movie. We now hear that the makers of this film as announced by Sushant Singh Rajput called Abundantia Entertainment has now sent out a legal notice to the people calling the press conference (the makers of 72 Hours) stating that they cannot release the film as the original rights are with them.
It seems that both the parties are not willing to give up and taking this issue to the next level. Dhayani said that in his entire career of 15 years he has never treaded any false path and said that if the people from Abundantia Entertainment would add pressure on them to ask them to bow down to them, then they are wrong. He also slammed the MS Dhoni actor for not checking the facts and taking up the film. He said that they are planning to knock the doors of court and settle down the issue once for all. Thus legal tussles remain the part and parcel of the game, let’s see how things would move, but at the moment things are not under control. Do comment about the same and let us know what do you feel about the same.
