Richa Chadha to play a politician role in Madam Chief Minister
Just when Subhash Kapoor is busy preparing for his next film Mogul a biopic to be made on the life of Gulshan Kumar with Aamir Khan as its lead actor, he seems to have found time to do yet another film. The film is titled as Madam Chief Minister where he has roped in the Fukrey fame actress Richa Chadha. As per reports, the actress would be playing the politician in the film directed by Subhash Kapoor.
As per reports, the film will have 40 days shooting schedule and it would be completed at one stretch by Subhash Kapoor as its director. The film is made at the backdrop of UP and thus would be shot in Lucknow only. It will hit the floor in November 2019 and was completed by the next month. As Subhash Kapoor has the background of political journalism, he has used many of his experiences to jot down films with political elements and narratives.
All his past films including Jolly LLB and Jolly LLB 2, Guudu Rangeela, and Phas Gaye Re Obama seemed to have some elements of politics in it. So like his previous films, he has tried to add his experience and anecdotes in the movie -Madam Chief Minister. The film also has Manav Kaul and Saurabh Shukla in the lead roles. The film is all set to hit the screens in July 2020. Meanwhile, he has started the preparation for his other film Mogul.
