MS Dhoni will tell stories of army men through his show

MS Dhoni

After being run-out by Martin Guptill in the World Semi Final against New Zealand in July, MS Dhoni took a break from cricket and completed a two-week stint with India’s Territorial Army in Jammu and Kashmir in August-July 2011.

He was awarded the post of honorary lieutenant-colonel for his contribution to the game. He also spent a lot of time with wife Sakshi and his daughter Zeeva.

While the former Indian captain has been away from the field for almost five months now and speculation about his future has intensified, it is now learned from some media sources that Dhoni used the break to make a TV show as well. And according to these sources, the show will go on air in a few months.

Media sources said “It is a series revolving around personal stories of military officers who have been honored with top gallantry honors such as the Ashok Chakra and Paramveer Chakra. Dhoni knows the journey of those who have selflessly served the country and what difficulties they have faced to serve the country. He wants to bring them into the limelight through his show. Currently the script of the show is being prepared and during this time the team is completing the formalities to start shooting. ”

Dhoni’s business partner Arun Pandey ventured into film production with the biopic MS Dhoni: The Untold Story in 2016.  At the same time, there was talk of Dhoni coming back with more cricketer inspiring content under his banner.
