Revised Print of Dhurandhar: The Revenge Features New Censors and Technical Fixes

A updated version of the action epic Dhurandhar: The Revenge has been dispatched to cinemas across India, featuring both technical corrections and new dialogue mutes. While the primary reason for the revised print was to fix a widely discussed continuity error—where a cameraman’s reflection was visible in a mirror during a key scene between Ranveer Singh and Udaybir Sandhu—the makers have also tightened the film’s censorship.

According to industry sources, several expletives that were audible in the initial release have now been silenced. Notable changes in the new print include:

We see some changes in the Sanjay Dutt’s Dialogue. A specific crude remark during the “Operation Lyari” sequence has been muted, though the actor’s physical gesture remains in the scene.

The supporting cast also has a few mutes. Abuses uttered by Rakesh Bedi’s character and a background character during the “Aari Aari” song sequence have been removed.

Lastly, we could see some selective filtering done for this version. While several “cuss words” have been silenced, other milder slang terms remain untouched in the audio track.

These adjustments follow a previous report that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had requested 21 modifications prior to the film’s release, including the replacement of certain names and terms with fictional alternatives.

Written and directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios in association with B62 Studios, Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues its strong theatrical run. This updated print ensures a more polished viewing experience by removing production blunders while aligning more closely with broadcast-friendly standards.
