Relief for Salman Khan as Supreme Court denies taking any coercive action against him over LoveYatri complaints
Salman Khan and controversies have remained the two sides of the same coin since he turned active in the Tinsel Town. Every film has been brought to controversy for one reason or the other. Even the ones in which he has not acted but even produced have been brought to bad books for one reason or the other. One such film was LoveYatri which was made to give the launch of his brother in law – Aayush Sharma the husband of his sister.
When the film was announced its title invited controversy and people filed a petition against it asking the Supreme Court to take coercive action against Salman Khan on a complaint filed against him for causing injury to the religious sentiment. The actor was accused of making a film that hurt the religious sentiments. The film also brought forth several private criminal complaints in 2018 against the said movie. People alleged that it did hurt the religious sentiment of the Hindu community.
As the film was named as Loveratri and sounded like Navratri, it did insult the sentiments of the Hindus. Later Salman changed it to LoveYatri but the complaint remained the Supreme Court. However, we hear that the Supreme Court has declined the case saying that no coercive action would be taken against the actor as nothing objectionable was found in the film. The film had Warina Hussain along with Ronit Roy in the pivotal roles, while Arbaaz and Sohail Khan made their special appearances in the movie. It was directed by Abhiraj Minawala.
