Raza Murad’s Sultan Jalaluddin Khilji look unveils from ‘Padmavati’



RAZA 1Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming majestic venture ‘Padmavati’ is buzzing the news columns. The first look posters of lead stars’ looks were freshly unleashed. Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor will be seen in never-seen-before look in this film and here comes one more first look poster.

The actor Raza Murad essays the role of the formidable old monarch Sultan Jalaluddin Khilji in the film ‘Padmavati’. He shared his first look poster along with a post that says “This is my look in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’. I am playing Jalaluddin Khilji who was the first ruler of Khilji dynasty in India. He ruled India (1290-1296) for six years and was killed by his paternal nephew and son in law, Alauddin Khilji, who took over the throne after killing his uncle and father in law- Ranveer Singh has played Allaudin Khilji. Deepika Padukone plays the titular role of Padmavati and Shahid Kapoor plays Rawal Ratan Singh, the ruler of Chittor, Deepika’s husband. The film would be released on 1st December, all over the world,”

Raza Murad displays an intense look with a thick beard coloured with henna, his turban with a massive stone, a big necklace and wearing a dark fur.

Produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Bhansali Productions, the period-drama ‘Padmavati’ is all set to rule the big screens from December 1.
