Ranveer Singh is riding high with the success of his last films – Simmba and Gully Boy. He has ruled 2018 and also started the year 2019 with a big bang. His performances in his films have been applauded. He now has a couple of films in his kitty including 83 and Thakt. And as per the recent reports, the actor has also bagged another film from popular filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi who has chosen Ranveer Singh as a lead actor for his next venture. As per the director, the film will be a light comedy. The reports also suggest that Ranveer has given his consent for the film.
The two have been in touch with each other with other from some time. As per reports, the movie is likely to hit the floors in 2019. Earlier we have heard that the filmmaker is planning to make a sequel of Andaz Apna Apna and Ranveer Singh was supposed to play one of the characters in it; however, others have denied saying that. Some people feel that Rajkumar Santoshi’s next film would be the sequel of Andaz Apna Apna. However, some have denied about the same as they feel these are simply conjectures and people are guessing about it.
Now, the director is looking for the female lead and the film will have two ladies in it, which means Ranveer Singh will be flirting with two ladies. As per reports, Rajkummar Santoshi is trying to find ladies from the small screen rather roping in the B Town actresses or trying any other new face in it. He has hired Prashant Neel who is a known casting director of the small screen for finding the actresses for the female lead roles for his next film opposite Ranveer. The film is produced under the banner of Eros International.
