Ranveer Singh to Begin Preparations for Don 3 in March 2025: Report

Earlier this month, it was reported that the production schedule for Farhan Akhtar’s highly anticipated Don 3, featuring Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani, has undergone a significant change. Initially slated to begin filming in January 2025, the shoot has now been postponed to May-June 2025. The delay is attributed to Farhan Akhtar, who is currently busy with another project, 120 Bahadur. He aims to complete this film before turning his attention to Don 3.

Despite the production setback, there’s exciting news for fans eager to see Ranveer Singh portray the iconic character of Don. According to a source from News18 Showsha, while filming is on hold, pre-production for Don 3 is actively in progress. Fans can look forward to Ranveer starting his preparations for the role in March 2024. The source noted, “The pre-production work on the film is currently underway. And the prep for the same will begin next year in March, as apart from Farhan, Ranveer is also busy with Aditya Dhar’s untitled next and has recently embraced fatherhood.”

Ranveer and his wife, Deepika Padukone, welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on September 8, which adds an extra layer of significance to his already bustling 2024 schedule. Balancing fatherhood with his professional commitments will be a challenge, especially as he prepares to take on the role of Don—a character immortalized by Amitabh Bachchan and later Shah Rukh Khan. Meanwhile, Kiara Advani, Ranveer’s co-star, is also occupied with her own high-profile projects, including War 2, where she stars alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR.
