After having a lukewarm first day, Tevar at Box Office saw a mild growth in collection in the coming first weekend of the film. The Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha’s movie – Tevar managed to collect 10 percent extra on Saturday, which leads to the amount of 7.70 Crores. Similarly, on Sunday, the movie scored again higher collection, which tolled to around 7.30. Thus Tevar’s 1st Weekend Box Office Collection went to around 22 crores. This gave a sudden surge in movie collection. The movie had a good pre-release buzz, but the content was not that promising, which seemed affecting by Aamir Khan’s PK at the end of the day.
The movie Tevar opened with largely with mixed reviews, usually moving towards negative. Also, the movie PK is still running in a number of theatres, even after releasing since past three weeks, the buzz for the film has continued, which seems to be affecting the collection of PK. The trade pundits are expecting a good response in the coming days and collection could reach to 50 crores at the end of the first week of Tevar. Let’s see how things would go in the coming few days especially when you find things a bit slow against the expectations of the filmmakers.
