The popular daily DNA was seen reporting about Mastani Bajirao actor – Ranveer Singh that he was suffering from long time depression after his childhood friend has committed suicide. However, Ranveer Singh has refuted the report over his Facebook Fan page and over Twitter calling this act as bogus and far away from the truth, fabricated just to make sensational news. He further called the journalist and journalism as appallingly unethical and irresponsible as the person filing the report in the daily didn’t even care to check its veracity, calling the power of pen turning into a terror of the pen.
The report published by DNA was referring to unnamed sources and claimed that the actor was suffering from depression since long, which was caused owing to the childhood friend’s demise. The actor simply condemned the way the two different reports were clubbed together merely to sell news like hot cakes. The story of consulting the therapist too was wrong as Ranveer has never ever consulted anyone for the alleged depression. And linking the story to his alleged girl friend Deepika Padukone was the worst thing to do just to add a twist in the story.
