Ranu Mondal, who became a star overnight is trending again, here’s why!

Ranu Mondal’s story is something we all remember. She rose to prominence in 2019 after a video of her song went viral on social media, and she then sang for Himesh Reshammiya’s film Happy Hardy and Heer. Ranu made headlines for months, but she hasn’t been seen since 2020. Now, more than a year later, a new video of Ranu Mondal singing the hit song Manike Mage Hithe has surfaced online, and she is once again at the top of the trends list.

Ranu Mondal was ridiculed in November 2019 when a video appeared on the internet showing her snubbing a fan. At a store, a woman and her daughter approached Ranu for a selfie. As she tapped the singer on the shoulder from behind, Ranu turned around and said, “Dekhiye, aap please, don’t touch.” This particular statement made by Ranu enraged many people, and she was heavily chastised on social media for it.

Soon after the aforementioned incident, Ranu Mondal was trolled again on social media after a photo of her decked out in heavy jewellery and make-up for an event went viral. Ranu’s style, which included a gold gown, expensive jewellery, and heavy make-up, went viral, with some criticising her appearance.

Sandhya’s Makeover, a beauty salon in Kanpur, alleged that the viral image was fabricated after the uproar on Twitter over Ranu’s photo.
