Ranbir Kapoor’s this film not Brahmastra will be first released after lockdown
After a long wait, director Ayan Mukherjee finally chose 4 December 2020 as the release date for his much anticipated fantasy film “Brahmastra”, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
The film, which was to be released in the summer of 2020, was pushed forward as the team did not want to be left behind to meet international standards with its graphics and visual effects. The film is the first part of an epic trilogy.
However, after the crisis of the current coronavirus epidemic, it is now to be seen whether they will be able to show viewers the film in December. The buzz is that before this, another film of Ranbir Kapoor may just be ready for release, when the situation will return to normal.
Ranbir’s film Shamsher is expected to be released soon after the lock down as the shooting of the film ended early in the year and is now in its post-production phase and the team is working from their home..
Meanwhile, some others have opted to adopt the digital route and release their films on OTT platforms.
Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan and in Shamshera on Work Front.
