Ranbir Kapoor spotted outside Yash Raj Studios in Andheri Mumbai. The actor was attending a meeting with the team of ‘Shamshera’. According to the reports Ranbir has wrapped up the major chunk of the action-adventure film before the pandemic hit. Now it seems the actor is headed to the post-production and VFX work of the film.
Directed by Karan Malhotra who is known for his brand of larger-than-life action drama in ‘Agneepath’ and ‘Brothers’ the film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vani Kapoor in the pivotal role. The film is a period action drama set in the 1800s.
Meanwhile, Ranbir’s who has been working in magnum opus ‘Brahmastra’ for a very long time now is seem done with the shooting part now. The which went on floors in 2018, is nearing its end. If things go as per plan, director Ayan Mukerji will call it a wrap soon. The makers are now on an extensive schedule in Budapest.
Midday quoted a source as saying, “After the cast and crew are fully vaccinated, they will head to Hungary for the last schedule. Ayan intends to kick off the Budapest leg post-August, hoping that international travel will be possible by then.”
The film is the first instalment of a trilogy, which also features Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy.
