Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar to stream on Netflix on THIS day
The romantic comedy ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor has officially passed 50 days in theatres.The film, directed by Luv Ranjan, was released on March 8 and has made Rs. 225 crores at the global box office and Rs. 175 crore in India, making it the second highest grossing Hindi film of 2023 behind Pathaan.
According to recent media reports, ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ may soon be available to stream on Netflix. Although there has been no formal confirmation, either from the film’s creators or from the OTT platform as of now. There is also no definitive date for when Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar will be available on Netflix, but it is expected that the film will be available 59 days after its theatrical debut. This means it will be accessible to view on Netflix beginning from 3 May.

About ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’: The story revolves around Rohan “Mickey” Arora (Ranbir Kapoor) and Nisha “Tinni” Malhotra (Shraddha Kapoor), who fell in love with each other, but when the relationship becomes serious, Nisha realises she is not ready for marriage and contacts a breakup agency to assist her in breaking up with the guy. That person is none other than Rohan. What happens next forms the crux of the story.
In supporting roles, the film also stars Dimple Kapadia, Anubhav Singh Bassi, Hasleen Kaur, and Boney Kapoor. After three weeks, the film is still playing in theatres, albeit with a decreased occupancy percentage.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Sandeep Reddy’s gangster drama ‘Animal,’ in which he will share screen space with Rashmika Mandanna. The film is set to be released in theatres on 11 August, 2023.
