Ranbir Kapoor Provides Update on Brahmastra 2; Calls It “Very Exciting”
Ranbir Kapoor has officially confirmed that his blockbuster film ‘Brahmastra’ is set to be a three-part franchise. While attending the Red Sea Film Festival, he shared exciting news about the sequel, ‘Brahmastra 2’, revealing that the team is actively working on the script. Discussing the project, Ranbir stated, “Part 2 is in the writing stage. The first part was titled ‘Shiva,’ while the second will be called ‘Dev.’ We haven’t announced the cast yet, which is something very thrilling for us.”
He expressed his enthusiasm for collaborating with Ayan Mukerji, a close friend and director of the series. Ranbir noted, “I’ve worked with him on two films prior to this—‘Wake Up Sid’ and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. ‘Brahmastra’ was one of the first films of its kind, particularly for Indian cinema, and I believe it has great potential to expand in the upcoming parts.”Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, ‘Brahmastra’ featured a stellar cast, including Ranbir’s wife, superstar Alia Bhatt, and the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.
