Ranbir sad, “I don’t know if it’s a fortunate or unfortunate thing as two films release in 45 days. Films aside, this is a big year for me as I even got married. I always said that we need tangdi kebab (spicy grilled meat), and not dal chawal (rice and dal) in life. But with experience I can say that nothing better than dal chawal. Alia is the tadka (tempering of ghee and spices) in dal chawal, the achar (pickle) with it, she is everything, and I could not have asked for a better partner in my life.”

Talking about the film, Ranbir has been cast alongside the stunning Vaani Kapoor in this action thriller directed by Karan Malhotra. In this adrenaline-pumping entertainer, Ranbir will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar, while Sanjay Dutt will play his cruel enemy.

Ranbir is slated to return to the big screen after a three-year hiatus with this high-budget action thriller. Rajkumar Hirani’s biographical comedy-drama Sanju, based on the life of Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, was Ranbir’s most recent film. Ranbir received widespread acclaim for his portrayal of Sanjay Dutt, and the film went on to become the largest commercial success of its time, grossing Rs. 586.85 crore at the box office. Ranbir is back in the movies after a three-year hiatus, and he’s ready to show off his incredible acting abilities.
