This is perhaps the first time when Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma have paired for the first time in much hyped movie Bombay Velvet! Ranbir is playing the character called Johnny Balraj who is a street fighter. On the other end, you have Anushka Sharma playing the character of Rosie Noronha. Both share a sensual chemistry in the film. The dramatic twist in the story comes when Rosie has been called Bombay Velvet club, which is managed by Johnny while owned by Kaizad Khambatta (Karan Johar) in order to find a negative, which holds the evidence for a fatal crime committed by Johnny and Khambatta.
As Rosie comes across Johnny, she takes falls for him. As you find their romance blossoming, you find her mysterious past haunting by her present. So what comes at the end is how Bombay Velvet is all about. Now, let’s talk about the romance of Ranbir and Anushka and their chemistry. And as the director (Anurag Kashyap) says that the chemistry between the two is really hard to handle. They simply complimented each other in this movie, while their romance seems to be very much innocent and child like. They are seen getting obsessed to each other that remain protective about each other and very much passionately possessive regarding each other.
To put in other words, both Johnny and Rosie are seen creating an island for themselves despite remaining amidst the world full of crime, deceit and corruption. However, the two remain very much pure when they are seen in each other’s company. Both Ranbir and Anushka are seen doing a great job in order to bring the life and love story as being fantastic actors. The movie is produced by Fox Star Studios and Phantom, while it is seen hitting on 15th May.
