Ramayana Returns on DD with highest TRP ratings

The mega TV show Ramayana is back on the small screen as announced by the Information and Broadcast Minister Mr. Prakash Javdekar. Since then it has become the talk of the town. But this time the show is making news for some other big reason – getting a huge amount of TRPs on the small screen. Yes, you heard it right, the show ever since it came on air on 28th March has managed to gain the highest TRP in the first week. As per the data released by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting this Thursday, the mega show has gained the highest-ever rating ever in the history for a Hindi General Entertainment Channel (GEC) program.

This is the first time since 2015 when the Broadcasting Audience Research Council (BARC) started measuring the television audience to reach the highest. The show has been aired on a daily basis and it has gained a huge response on the small screen claims the reports of the Information and Broadcast figures. Besides the mythological serial like this and others like Mahabharta, the DD has embarked with several other TV shows like Shaktimaan, Chanakya, and the detective show – Byomkesh Bakshi. Besides, one can catch the shows like Dekh Bhai Dekh, Buniyaad, Shriman Shrimati, Alif Laila and Upanishad Ganga soon.

Now, talking about the TRP of the epic show called Ramanyana it has got so far 19.7 million Impressions while the Sunday episode seems to have recorded the huge figure of 37.9 million Impressions. On average, each episode seems to have bagged 42.6 million tune-ins and garnered 6.9 billion viewing minutes in total.4 hours ago. This is huge. Many of the celebs inside the home particularly Arun Govil seem to have tweeted about it saying that they are watching the show by sharing the picture.
