Ramayana Announcement: Nitesh Tiwari to Reveal the Star-Studded Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash Film on Ram Navami

Recent reports indicate that the long-awaited magnum opus “Ramayana,” based on the revered epic that is an integral part of Indian mythology, is set to be unveiled in the first half of 2024. Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari is reportedly poised to put an end to the speculation by revealing details of the film on April 17, 2024, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. It has been widely anticipated that the film will star Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles of Ram and Sita, with Yash portraying Ravana and Sunny Deol as Hanuman.

The announcement is expected to be a grand celebration of Ram Navami, perfectly complementing the theme of the film, which is based on the life and teachings of Lord Rama. Along with unveiling the cast and crew, Nitesh Tiwari is said to discuss the film’s release date. It is rumored that the film is slated for release around the time of Diwali, symbolizing Lord Rama’s return to Ayodhya after vanquishing Ravana.

A source quoted in Pinkvilla reports, “There is no better date than Ram Navami to make an official announcement on the cast, crew, and release plans for Ramayana. It’s the most ambitious film of Indian Cinema, and the team is making all the efforts to bring it to the spectacle in the most authentic manner. The team has spent over 5 years in pre-production to get the script and visuals in place, and it’s now the time to execute all that was planned.”

The epic “Ramayana” is anticipated to be a trilogy, with actresses Lara Dutta and Rakul Preet Singh rumored to join the cast as Kaikeyi and Surpanaka, respectively. However, the entire cast and crew have maintained silence about the project, and it is expected that details will be revealed following the film’s official announcement on April 17.
