Vivek Agnihotri SLAMS Wikipedia for changing description of The Kashmir Files to “Fictional, Inaccurate”

The Kashmir Files has been a huge box office success for Bollywood. The film got off to a good start before turning into a massive smash. With a return on investment of 232.50 crores, it has also become the most profitable Hindi film of all time. However, one cannot dispute that a certain level of hatred exists among the populace, which has now been mirrored on Wikipedia. See how Vivek Agnihotri reacted to it all in the video below.

Because of its theme, The Kashmir Files garnered a lot of government backing from all throughout the country. The film was made tax-free in a number of states, including Haryana, Gujarat, Goa, and Uttar Pradesh. But there are also allegations on the Anupam Kher starrer of allegedly promoting anti-muslim speech, and Islamophobia amongst other claims.

The Kashmir Files was detailed as “fictional’, ‘inaccurate’ and ‘associated with conspiracy theories’ on Wikipedia. Reacting to the same, Vivek Agnihotri took to his Twitte handle and wrote, “Dear @Wikipedia, You forgot to add ‘Islamophobia propaganda Sanghi bigot etc’. You are failing your Secular credentials. Hurry, edit more.”

Several viewers even resorted to the comments section to say that they had tried and failed to modify it back and restore the facts. The Wikipedia administration has yet to respond to Vivek Agnihotri’s tweet.

The Kashmir Files is currently playing in theaters and has so far grossed a total of 252.50 crores.
