The known filmmaker of B Town – Anurag Kashyap has time to celebrate as his film Raman Raghav 2.0 has reached Cannes. Yes the film based on the life of a notorious serial killer known as Raman Raghav from Mumbai of sixties will be premiered at the 69th Cannes International Film Festival. Kashyap was quick to announce the same at the micrblogging site giving this news to his fans and friends. As pre reports, the film will be screened in the said festival, which is being organized in between 11th May to 22nd May 2016, while the movie would be releasing on 27th May 2016.
The film is a psychological thriller, which features Nawazuddin Siddiqui who plays the serial killer character. The movie also has Vicky Kaushal who is playing the character of cop. Anurag Kashyap’s previous films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Ugly, Bombay Talkies and Peddlers have been screened as these film festivals apart from getting awards for the same. Also, the movie produced by him under his Banner Phantom Films called Masaan too has been applauded for its story and performances at various film festivals. So, all eyes on the premiere along with the release date, which has the two other releases one from Pooja Bhatt called Cabaret and the other from Ram Gopal Varma called Veerappan.
