Rakul Preet Singh’s Brother, Aman Preet Singh, Arrested in Hyderabad Drug Bust

In Hyderabad, Aman Preet Singh, the brother of star Rakul Preet Singh, along with four others, was detained on allegations of using cocaine.Following a raid on a flat in Hydershakotla, Narsingi, the Telangana police reported, “We seized 199 grams of cocaine worth ₹35 lakh, two passports, two bikes, 10 cell phones, and other incriminating material from their possession.”The Telangana Anti Narcotics Bureau, in collaboration with the Cyberabad Police’s Special Operations Team (SOT) and Rajendranagar Police, apprehended five drug dealers, including two Nigerians, involved in distributing cocaine to high-profile clientele in the city.

Avinash Mohanty, the Cyberabad Commissioner of Police, confirmed that Aman was one of the clients.Out of the 13 individuals who were suspected users, five were detained, and all five tested positive for cocaine in their urine samples. The detained individuals are Aniketh, Prasad, Aman, Madhu, and Nikhil.The Telangana police issued a statement, urging the youth and students to refrain from falling prey to drugs and requesting parents to keep a watchful eye on their children’s activities and feel free to approach the police for assistance.

It is worth mentioning that Rakul Preet Singh, the popular actor, was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate last year in connection with a case involving narcotics trafficking and usage. The investigating agency recorded her statement in this case in both 2021 and 2022.The recent detention of Aman Preet Singh and the subsequent arrests highlight the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies to combat drug-related activities in the region. The authorities emphasize the importance of raising awareness and preventing drug abuse, particularly among the younger generation, to ensure a safer and healthier society.
