Raksha Bandhan: Akshay Kumar takes a dig on the BO clash with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha

Recently, Akshay Kumar‘s upcoming film Raksha Bandhan trailer has been released and it is gaining a lot of good reviews as Akshay is back with a full proof solid Indian rooted drama. Well, the film is slated to be released on 11th August and it will be clashing with Aamir Khan’s highly awaited film Laal Singh Chaddha.

Recently, while talking to the media, the Khiladi actor was asked about the clash happening on 11th August, to which he said, “It’s not a clash, it’s about 2 big movies coming together. It’s a big date. There has been a delay due to Covid, and clashes are natural. I won’t say we are clashing, we are trying to bring our film to the people. I hope both the films have a good run at the box office.”

Raksha Bandhan marks Akshay and Bhumi’s reunion after Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, which was also released on Independence Day weekend. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film is produced under the banner of Zee.

Meanwhile, back on Sunday attended a Mumbai Police event at Marine Drive. At 7 a.m., security personnel noticed Akshay running and cycling. The actor even put a vehicle used by the Mumbai Police to patrol the region to the test. While many applauded Akshay for supporting the Mumbai Police Department’s programme, a few others cruelly mocked him. On social media, several photographs and videos of Akshay from the occasion have gone popular. In a black t-shirt, shorts, and white sports shoes, the 54-year-old actor looked effortlessly cool. With cameras and admirers following him, Akshay was seen racing near Marine Drive while holding a helmet in his hand.
