A well-known comedian in the entertainment industry Raju Srivastava was admitted to the AIIMS on Wednesday. The actor and comedian had a heart attack yesterday, and according to reports from PTI, he is currently on a ventilator and in a severe condition. The 58-year-old comedian complained of feeling uneasy while exercising in a gym and was sent to the hospital right away.
According to news agency PTI, the comedian underwent angioplasty and is “critical and on a ventilator.” Before being released, he will remain under monitoring for a few days. He was transported to the AIIMS emergency on Wednesday at at 10:45. “Srivastava had to be resuscitated thrice. He was rushed to the catheterization lab and underwent angioplasty. He has been admitted to the coronary care unit (CCU),” the source told PTI.

On Wednesday night, Ashok Srivastava, Srivastava’s cousin, said that the comedian had a heart attack while exercising. “He was on the treadmill performing his normal exercise when all of a sudden, he lost his balance and crashed. After having a heart attack, he was transported right away to the AIIMS hospital “Shikha Srivastava, the comedian’s wife, had arrived in Delhi, he had informed PTI.
Raju Srivastava has established a name for himself in the world of stand-up comedy thanks to his clever jokes and humorous views on some quite current events. He gained notoriety as a result of the groundbreaking stand-up comedy talent competition programme “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge,” which debuted its inaugural season in 2005. He most recently appeared with Sunil Grover as a special guest on India’s Laughter Champions.
