Raju Srivastava health update: comedian is still on ventilator, wife Shikha requests everyone for prayers
Famous comedian Raju Srivastava had a severe attack last month and has been admitted to the hospital since then. His family and friends confirm that Raju is stable and are praying for his speedy recovery. In a recent conversation, his wife Shikha confirm that Raju is still on the ventilator and asked people to pray for his good health. She also requested to everyone not spread any rumors because it affects the morale of the family.
In conversation with Bombay Times, “All I can say is that his condition is stable and he is still on a ventilator. The medical team is doing their best and we all want your prayers so that he recovers and is back with us.”
The comedian’s wife Shikha requested the media and fans of the Raju to rely only on statements issued by the family on their official social media pages and the hospital. “Only statements from AIIMS Delhi and Raju Ji’s official social media accounts are trustworthy and genuine. Any other news or statements from anyone else is unreliable,” she stated PTI.
“The doctors and their entire team at AIIMS Delhi are working hard and diligently. We’re thankful to them and all his well-wishers. Request you all to continue your love and prayers for him,” she further added.
When there were false reports about his health two weeks ago, his daughter Antara released a statement on her official Instagram handle that read, “Dear all well-wishers, My dad Mr. Raju Srivastava Ji’s condition is stable and he continues to recover slowly. He is on a ventilator at the moment. Only statements from AIIMS Delhi and Raju Ji’s official social media accounts are trustworthy and genuine. Any other news or statements from anyone else is unreliable. The doctors and their entire team at AIIMS Delhi are working hard and diligently. We’re thankful to them and all his well-wishers. Request you all to continue your love and prayers for his speedy recovery.”
On the work front, Raju Srivastav appeared in shows and films like The Kapil Sharma Show, Comedy Circus, Bigg Boss, Shaktimaan, and films like Maine Pyaar Kiya, Tezaab, and Baazigar.
