Rajpal Yadav will be seen as Transgendered Villain suggested by late Rituparno Ghosh in Faisal Saif’s Amma

Author Film Doctor:- Ace comedian Rajpal Yadav will play the main antagonist in controversial director Faisal Saif’s upcoming multi-lingual film Amma which is being made in five languages which includes Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

The actor goes in for a unique change and dons the get-up of a Transgendered in the film. Sources also claimed this character to be inspired by a real life personality as Rajpal plays an Income Tax officer in the film who later becomes a devotee of Lord Krishna.

“I remember having creative discussions in Kolkata with Late Rituparno Ghosh while he was making The Crowning Wish in 2012. He was the one who gave me some scariest ideas regarding this antagonist character and i started developing it. In fact Ritu Da suggested me this actual characterization. The character in my film thinks he is Radha of Lord Krishna. The character is sick and sadist at the same time.” said Faisal Saif.

Amma stars Ragini Dwivedi along with Prashant Narayanan, Kavita Radheshyam, Pooja Misrra and Aanjjan Srivastava. The film is getting ready for May release.
