Rajkummar Rao Spills the Beans on Playing a Gujarati businessman in Made In China
Rajkummar Rao is known as a competent actor. Give him any character, he plays it with all his devotion and commitment. He leaves no stone unturned to make the character appear the best over the silver screen. So, when it comes to playing the character of a Gujarati businessman in Made In China, he did loads of preparation for the same. While talking about his role in the said movie, he said he has got inspiration from real-life experience.
He plays the character called Raghu Mehta with Mouni Roy playing his wife in the film. The director of the film is Mikhil Musale. As per the actor, the film deals with the man going to China and how he is struck for not knowing the local language or another language to carry out the business. As per the actor, he experienced similar things in his life, which he has tried to incorporate in the film for the said role.
He said he has visited a couple of places in Asia including China as well and did face language issues while dealing with the local people. He narrated the story about how difficult it for him was to hire a cab in China and moving to the desired location. When the director was seen narrating the scenes to him in the movie, he also shared his personal experience with the filmmaker. He then considered the same to make it more realistic for the film. He said he took inspiration from his own life while playing the role in the movie.
