Rajkummar Rao gets down on his knee to propose Patralekhaa, she too asks him to marry her

Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa are all set to finally take the vows. The couple who got engaged on Saturday in an intimate ceremony will be tying the knot this month. The couple started the celebration with a beautiful engendered event, the theme of the ceremony was white. Rajkummar got down on one knee to propose to Patralekhaa, she, too, asked him to marry her.

Patralekhaa wore a white off-shoulder gown with a short train, while Rajkummar kept it simple with a white kurta-churidaar coupled with a matching jacket and sports shoes. She accessorised with a diamond necklace with a snake motif.

A video of the two proposing at the Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa Resort in New Chandigarh has gone viral. “Patralekhaa, will you marry me?” Rajkummar asks her as he gets down on one knee. Patralekhaa likewise bends down to sit, but instead of asking him, “Rajkummar Rao, would you marry me?” and placing a ring on his finger, she takes the initiative and asks, “Rajkummar Rao, will you marry me?” He puts a ring on her finger after he wears the ring, to the delight of the guests. After that, the two dance to a love song.

More photos of them posing with the guests have surfaced on the internet. It depicts the hotel and how it was decorated with white lights in preparation for the couple’s white-themed engagement. Saqib Saleem, an actor, and Farah Khan, a filmmaker, were also in attendance.

In the film Citylights, Rajkummar and Patralekhaa played a married couple. The two then teamed up for Bose: Dead/Alive, a web series. Rajkummar had stated that he first saw her during an ad shoot and decided to marry her one day. He stated the one idea that came to mind when he met her for the first time during his visit on The Kapil Sharma Show. “Kitni pyaari ladki hai, isse toh shaadi karni chahiye (such a lovely girl),” he said.
