Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa to tie knot in an elaborate ceremony in Chandigarh today
Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa have been dating for more than 10 years now. The two are now all set to tie the knot in an elaborate ceremony in Chandigarh.
According to a media report Rajkummar and Patralekhaa’s wedding is taking place in Chandigarh today, November 10. A tabloid also quoted a source as saying, “It is going to be a very close affair for Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa. They have invited only select guests from the film industry.”
However, neither Patralekhaa nor Rajkummar has confirmed the news.
When asked about her wedding plans in 2018, Patralekhaa stated that the couple had a lot to accomplish and that they had no plans for the next 6-7 years.
The actress recalled their first meeting in an old interview. She claimed she first saw him in the movie LSD (Love Sex Aur Dhokha). “I thought that the weird guy he played in the film was actually what he was like. My perception of him was already tarnished. He told me later that he had first seen me in an ad and thought, ‘I’m going to marry her’. It was so ironic,” she recalled.
Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao was most recently seen in Disney+Hotstar’s film Hum Do Humare Do. Kriti Sanon, Ratna Pathak Shah, and Paresh Rawal also star in the film. Aside from that, he’s working on a couple of projects. He’ll be seen in Badhaai Do, a Netflix film Monica, O My Darling, and Vikram Rao’s Hit: The First Case, alongside Bhumi Pednekar.
