Rajkumar Hirani Faces Twitterati’s Wrath as he gets nominated for two Filmfare awards despite sexual assault charges
As you check the recent Filmfare awards nomination list, we see Rajkumar Hirani getting nominated twice, which irked the people on Twitter as to how a person under #MeToo Scanner is getting the same. We remember, a female crew member from his film Sanju alleged that Hirani has carried out the misconduct with the lady while making the said movie. The same film has given him two nominations in the said award function platform.
Just after the nomination list was unveiled in the media, the users at Twitter made a huge hype against the B Town filmmaker alleging as to how come he becomes eligible without getting the clean chit in the sexual misconduct case. The Twitterwadi questioned the audacity of Filmfare group to nominate Hirani for the two award categories. Someone said that Filmfare is at the sellout and brought to bonafide trash.
Another tweet said calling Rajkumar Hirani the best director in the said award, hopefully, the filmmaker will not be able to parade with the award over the stage as he still has the allegation. The film Sanju hit the screens on 29th June with Ranbir Kapoor in the leading role. The film bagged 120.06 Crores at the box office and it emerged as the fifth highest grossing films in B Town. It was directed and written by Rajkumar Hirani, while it has Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, and Vicky Kushal to name a few.
