Bio – Rajinikanth alias Shivaji Rao Gaikwad is a well known Indian film actor, cultural icon and media personality. He has acted in a number of Tamil and Hindi Indian films. Starting his career way back in 1975 with a Tamil Film Called Apoorva Raagangal that led him a national award for his incredible performance, he has been seen working with different nations based cinemas including from Hollywood industry as well. This versatile actor was not born with a silver spoon in her mouth and thus had a rough road. His childhood was tough and miserable wherein he was seen doing odd jobs. He also worked as a bus conductor in state transport buses in Bangalore. Besides he also worked with certain plays as a child actor in Bangalore and finally shifted to Madras (now Chennai) in the year 1973 wherein he enrolled for a diploma in acting at an institute called Madras Film Institute.
With a brief struggle in Madras, he was able to get his first break, which led him the prestigious award of Government of India, which followed a couple of films playing the negative character in the south Indian films. Gradually he rose himself to hold the status of matinee idol and thus was seen with a huge fan following. This things, which made him popular in the film industry was his unique mannerism and stylish kind of dialogue delivery. His film Shivaji released in the year 2007 had the contract of 2.6 crore, which made him the second highest Asian actor (the first is Jackie Chan).
