In his acting career spanning over a decade, Rajesh Shringarpure has essayed roles of different shades. Rajesh’s good looks and well built body has often brought him negative roles and action films. Now and again the actor has proved his talent in Hindi and Marathi films. He has experimented with his characters from comic to villainous and from political figure to a guy next door.

Rajesh was very young when he played the role of an army officer in the Hema Malini starrer Hindi film Param Vir Chkara in 1995. Rajesh started his career in acting about twelve years back doing key roles in Hindi and Marathi serials. As an actor , he got his break in the film ‘Bin Pashyachay Tamaasha’ in which he played a comic character and costarred with Prasad Oak, Vijay chavhan and Amruta Subhash. He is also well known for his performance in the Sahara one comedy show ‘Sahib , Biwi aur Gulam’ in which Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon also acted. His portrayal of Lord Krishna in the mythological serial ‘Saarthi’ was also much appreciated. His charming looks and a pleasing personality made him an impressive embodiment of Lord Krishna.

In 2008, in RamGopal Verma directed Sarkar Raj, Rajesh played a negative character of Sanjay Somji which turned out an impressive performance by him. It was in the year 2010 that he got a role of high potential in the Avdhuth Gupte political drama Zenda. Thanks to the controversies associated with the film, it became a hit and Rajesh , who played the role of Raj Thackerey garnered lot of praise for his well timed acting. Rajesh made a mark with his performance and that set the trend for his forthcoming films. Later films like’ Mee Amruta Boltey’ and ‘Manyaa- the wonder Boy’ also gave him much recognition as an actor. In these he attempted action and came out with flying colors in that genre as well.

His successful films include Bhatt Camp’s’ Murder 3’ in2013 in which he played a police officer. In the romantic comedy Shortcut Romeo , starring Bipasha Basu, amisha Patel and Neil Nitin Mukesh, he played a key role with great comic touch.

His international projects include Seal Team Six that came out in the year 2012 wherein he played a CIA agent. Last year Rajesh impressed every one in his international project Gandhi Of The Month , directed by Kranti Kanade. He played the complicated character of Dr. Shailendra with great skill of his own.

Rajesh married his long time sweetheart in 2007 and is settled in Mumbai. In his own words , he enjoys the uncertain career that an acting career brings with itself and also its unconventional routine.
