The handsome actor, Rajeev Khandelwal was taken to hospital after getting some serious injuries in a car accident, this Sunday afternoon. As per the Indian Express report, Rajeev was in his SUV while returning after attending a promotional event of his latest film called Samrat & Co near Gorai at Water Kingdom in suburban Mumbai. It is here when rashly driven other vehicle crashed into his car, which later hit the tree. Further Khandelwal suffered injuries sustaining in right arm for which he has been prescribed 3 weeks of bed rest. This is as per ZEE report that Rajeev is recuperating in a reputed city hospital.
People who witnessed the accident said that other people in the car are also badly hurt. Women sitting in other car were in state of trauma and shock due to which they were taken quickly for medical treatment. TOI asked Khandelwal after the accident and he expressed, “I could not realize and recollect anything as I was busy on phone, sitting at the back seat of car. My right shoulder is badly injured”.
The actor is known for selective work and critical acclaim in movies like Aamir and believes that he does not require any paid audiences for his movies as that may establish you suddenly but diminish also. He further said, “I don’t want to be lost in the crowd” & continue the kind of work comes my way.
Soon Rajeev will be back to his schedule once he heals up the injuries. Here is wishing the actor a speedy recovery.
