Raj Anadkat aka ‘tapu’ pens an emotional note for late Ghanashyam Nayak aka Nattu Kaka

On Sunday we lost one of the most commendable actors Ghanashyam Nayak. He is popularly known for his character Natwarlal Prabhashankar Undhaiwala aka Nattu Kaka, who handles the accounts section of Gada Electronics in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The senior actor passed away at age of 77 and had undergone surgery last year after he was diagnosed with cancer. 

Raj Anadkat who essays the role of Tapu in the show mourns his death and reveals how they shared a makeup once after he was back on sets after a long time. And he also opened up about how the late actor was very hardworking. 

Sharing a picture with the late actor, Raj wrote, “Me and kaka was sharing a makeup and he had come on set after a long time. He entered the room and said ‘aaav beta kem che’ I took his blessings and he was so happy coming back on set after so many days. He asked me about my family and said ‘saras, bhagwan badhanu bhalu Kare’. His dedication and hard work at such age was commendable.” “Will never forget those anecdotes he used to share. Kaka you will always be remembered,”.

The late actor started his career as a child artiste in 1960 and since then he has been part of over 100 Gujarati and Hindi films and approximately 350 Hindi television serials.
