Vinod Khanna is known to have two sons, Akshaye and Rahul Khanna. Yes, he is among the prolific actors of Bollywood who has done a number of movies. He was born and brought in Mumbai wherein he did his schooling and later went to study filmmaking, acting and dancing from Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute followed by the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He started his career working as a video jockey with MTV Asia in the year 1994 wherein he stayed with the show for around four years. During his stay, he enjoyed good popularity all over Asia and helped the show to get a good media coverage and popularity among its audience.
After reaching to a huge height of popularity and fame through this program, he was offered the movie called 1947 Earth by Deepa Mehta, which he accepted to work along with Aamir Khan and Nandita Das. He was awarded with the best male debut from Filmfare. His performance was applauded both by the audience and critics and then he was seen in different movies like Elaan, Raqeeb, Bollywood/Hollywood, while also did some international projects including The Emperor’s Club, which was the production of Kevin Kline.

He was also seen in small screen as you know he started his career working as VJ in MTV Asia during the regime of 1994 to 1998. Later, he was also seen as a host in Disney Week in the year 2006. Besides he was also seen hosting a number of events including IIFA Awards, Miss India Pageant, Screen Awards, Stardust Awards, Miss India Worldwide, etc.
