Another complaint filed against Kangana Ranaut over her ‘Independence Bheek Remark’

Kangana Ranaut and troubles go hand in hand. Recently the actress was highly criticised for her ‘Independence Bheek Remark’. The actress generated a huge controversy over her remarks. Several complaints have also been filed against her.

Kangana Ranaut recently claimed that bribes were used to secure India’s independence in 1947. In 2014, India gained complete independence. Her comment evoked outrage, and she was chastised a lot for it.

Mumbai Congress General Secretary Bharat Singh filed a complaint against Kangana Ranaut for making indecent remarks on December 28.
Lawyers Ashish Rai and Ankit Upadhyay filed the case at the Vile Parle Police Station. According to sources, Kangana Ranaut’s irresponsible remark was broadcast worldwide via interviews. The lawsuit claims that this remark has harmed the national dignity and honour of Indian citizens, as well as great former freedom warriors, heroes, and previous leaders. It’s been deemed unconstitutional as well as a betrayal of national honour.

Several complaints were filed against Kangana following her comments. A demand was also made for her to surrender the Padma Shri Award. A mob gathered along the road and set fire to her effigy in a frenzy of rage.

Meanwhile, on the sets of her upcoming production Tiku Weds Sheru the actress received late director Bimal Roy’s vintage camera. The actor-turned-producer took to Instagram to share two pictures of herself with the vintage camera.

Sharing the photos, she wrote in the caption, “There is no ordinary day, today on the sets of Tiku weds Sheru I found a rare gem, Newall camera right from the golden age of Indian Cinema 1950’s and this belonged to one of the greatest directors of all time Shri Bimal Roy ji.”
