Tiger 3 Box Office Collection Day 2: Salman Khan’s Film Surpasses ₹100 Crore Mark, Outperforms Jawan
Tiger 3’s box office performance on day two surpassed that of Jawan, solidifying its trajectory towards becoming another blockbuster of the year. With its second-day collections pushing the total domestic box office earnings past the ₹100 crore mark, Salman Khan and YRF have a significant milestone to celebrate.
Tiger 3’s remarkable second-day performance shattered records, with a staggering collection of ₹57.52 crore. This surpassed its Sunday collection of ₹44.5 crore, bringing its two-day total to an impressive ₹102 crore. Remarkably, this surpasses the second-day collection of Jawan, the year’s biggest hit to date. Despite opening with a strong ₹74.5 crore on day one, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan witnessed a slight dip on day two, collecting ₹53 crore. Nevertheless, the film went on to achieve a remarkable feat, amassing a total of ₹1100 crore at the worldwide box office.
Tiger 3’s international debut was nothing short of spectacular, amassing a staggering ₹94 crore on its opening day. While worldwide day 2 figures are yet to be revealed, film trade expert Taran Adarsh has already declared it the “BIGGEST OPENER EVER in the international markets,” with day one collections reaching a remarkable USD 5,000,530 (approximately ₹41.66 crore). This exceptional performance sets the stage for Tiger 3’s continued success on the global stage. According to the Sacnilk report, Tiger 3’s occupancy rates on Monday were 48.62% for Hindi, 26.43% for Telugu, and 29.91% for Tamil.
Tiger 3 serves as the sequel to the 2017 blockbuster Tiger Zinda Hai and forms an integral part of YRF’s ambitious spy universe. This interconnected world will witness the thrilling crossover of characters from Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan’s War in upcoming stories. Advance bookings for Tiger 3 commenced on November 5. The film, set after the events of Pathaan, follows Salman’s titular spy as he races against time to safeguard both his family and his nation. Tiger 3 marks the fifth installment in the YRF Spy Universe.
