Raazi, directed by Meghna Gulzar and starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, was hailed as one of the greatest films of 2018. The action-spy drama earned positive reviews and grossed more than 100 crores at the box office, making it one of Bollywood’s most successful female-centric films. Alia extended her acting boundaries in Raazi. Vicky also nailed it.
There was news that a sequel of the film would be made. Now Khalid Mir aka Jaideep Ahlawat has an important update to ease with the visions regarding the much-awaited questions.
Director Meghna Gulzar has not spoken about the sequel to anyone, according to Jaideep in an interview with Bollywoodlife.com, because she is such a sensitive filmmaker who prefers to iron out every minute element of her art. Ahlawat also stated that she will only make a sequel to Raazi if she comes up with a compelling cause to do so.
Like others, the actor too agrees that the spying thriller has a scope of another installment but probably with a different storyline as Khalid Mir and Sehmat’s character survived in the film.
Not only did the Bloody Brothers actor spill beans on the sequel of Raazi, but when asked about the second season of the Amazon Prime web series, Paatal Lok, he said he will be very happy to return to Paatal Lok.
