Deepika Padukone Gets Support for her JNU Stand While Akshay Kumar Condemed for Waving ABVP Flag
As Deepika Padukone visits the premises of Jawaharlal Nehru University supporting the injured students protesting against the attack, she garnered good support within and outside the B Town circles. On the other side, Akshay Kumar who was seen holding the flag of the right-wing student wing’s flag of ABVP was condemned for supporting someone who has been alleged in the role of the students’ and teachers’ attack in JNU Campus.
The first one to support Deepika was Milind Deora the politician from Bombay who supported Deepika saying that it is better to take a stand rather than a fence seater especially the people like Akshay Kumar who was seen waving the ABVP flag in 2018. He further said, it speaks a lot about the two for their positions on the issue. However, many on the other side called Deepika’s visit to JNU as PR gimmick.
