Check the production numbers, the film only managed to secure 2.5 crore on Wednesday and so far it has collected INR 43/75 crore at the box office. The film has opened up with mixed reviews but the acting of Ranbir Kapoor seems to be applauded a lot by the viewers and reviwers equally.
As per reports, the film was made in a budget of around 110 Crore, which has seemed to have down after the end of the first week. The first week collection report is okay as far as the figure is concerned. Well, as per reports, the first week box office collection for Jagga Jasoos netted to around 45 crores, which is really a good figure for a film like this which has never been tried earlier in the Hindi Cinema. The makers have tried something different over the silver screen, which has attracted both the children and adults alike.
With a decent collection in the first weekend, the film failed to keep its pace during the weekdays for obvious reasons. However, the film was promoted in a decent fashion yet it will fail to garner the 100 crore over the box office thanks to several other movies that have touched the screen now. Hence with films like Munna Micheal and the most controversial hitting the silver screen, the film Jagga Jasoos is likely to get hampered in a bad way. Hence it will lose the collection in its second weekend collection for the obvious reasons, which gives the makers to lose mullah over the box office.
