R Madhavan roped in as leading man for Bunty Aur Babli 2.0 opposite Rani Mukherji
With all said and done, we now hear about the sequel Bunty Aur Babli 2.0 getting its leading man opposite Rani Mukherji. The earlier part of the film had Junior Bachchan opposite Rani Mukerji, while Big B was the police officer who was behind the two con men played by Abhisheik and Rani in the Yash Raj films. The makers have brought back Shaad Ali who had directed the prequel as well.
It was Junior Bachchan who remained the choice of the makers but as he refused to be the part of the sequel, the makers then approached Saif Ali Khan but he also had to opt out from the venture for his busy schedule. The makers then finally decided R Madhavan as the lead actor. As per reports, the actor is now being signed for the film. Besides the actor, we would also see Siddhant Chaturvedi the Gully Boy fame actor in the film.
Saif was supposed to do this film but with some reasons, he had to opt out. Ever since he stepped down, the makers were on the lookout for the sequel for a suitable actor. As the makers found R Madhavan proving out to be the perfect match, they made sure to get him for the role. The film is directed by Varun V Sharma this time as Shaad Ali had to politely refuse the film. Varun has been the part of the Salman Khan’s starrer film Bharat and he also worked as assistant directors for Khan’s film like Sultan and Kil Dil for Ranveer Singh. Besides, a new face called Sharvari Wagh will be the part of the film.
