The web series is directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon along with the Prasath Murugesan. It will be soon going to release on the popular digital platform called MX Player. The release date is on 5th December 2019 and it is based on the life of the late political leader and the former CM of Taml Nadu called Jayalalithaa.

The makers have even released the teaser where one can see a schoolgirl is on the stage and is seen facing the mic getting applauds from the audience. Soon there is an announcement that states that the girl is a state topper and then the girl is seen dancing with someone calling her a“Superstar heroine at 18”. The lead actors of the web series include Ramya Krishnan, Anika Surendran and Indrajith Sukumaran who would be seen in different roles.

It would be interesting to see the web series releasing this month when the Bollywood filmmakers too plan to make a similar movie with the title ‘Thalaivi’ by AL Vijay’s starring Kangana Ranaut. It would be too little and late for the B Town audience, till then they can easily catch the web series on the said digital platform. The makers have released the teaser and it seems interesting to see how it is creating a buzz in the media.
