PVR INOX Rebrands Key Cinemas to ‘MIRZAPVR’ Ahead of Mirzapur: The Movie Release
PVR INOX Limited, Excel Entertainment, and Amazon MGM Studios have announced a major theatrical association for the upcoming film Mirzapur: The Movie. Marking the transition of the iconic streaming franchise to the big screen, select multiplexes across India will undergo a special takeover, rebranding as ‘MIRZAPVR’ under the promotional tagline “MIRZAPVR — Bhaukaal Ab Bade Parde Par.”
The immersive campaign will come alive in key cities across the country, including prominent venues such as Priya Cinema in Delhi, alongside multiplexes in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Lucknow. The initiative aims to offer a distinctive cinematic experience for fans while deepening audience engagement ahead of the theatrical debut. Presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, Mirzapur: The Movie is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Puneet Krishna. The project is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, with Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani serving as co-producers. Designed to amplify the intense storytelling, memorable characters, and gritty world of the original series into a larger-than-life spectacle, Mirzapur: The Movie is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on September 4, 2026.
