Priyanka Chopra lashes out at a publication for calling her ‘The Wife Of Nick Jonas’

The Keanu Reeves-starrer is one of the year’s most anticipated films, and Priyanka Chopra has slammed a tabloid for labelling her the “Wife of Nick Jonas” and published a screenshot of the article on her Instagram story.
Priyanka Chopra is a global celebrity who is known for her extraordinary talent and acting abilities. However, women are frequently referred to in the media by the names of their better halves; this, understandably, did not sit well with the Barfi actress. Priyanka Chopra took to Instagram to slam a tabloid that referred to her as the ‘Wife of Nick Jonas,’ and wrote: “Very interesting that I’m promoting one of the most iconic film franchises of all time, and I’m still referenced as ‘the wife of…’” Priyanka Chopra continued and wrote, “Please explain how this still happens to women? Should I add my IMDb link to my bio?” The actress also tagged her husband Nick Jonas in the post.
Meanwhile, on the 100th edition of Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk, the actress said that her husband Nick Jonas is a fan of the Matrix trilogy and boasted to his fans that his wife was a part of the franchise’s future film. “He’s definitely a fan of The Matrix and I think he was very excited when I became a part of the movie. He may or may not have been very excitedly bragging, telling a few of his fans that I was part of the next one. Yeah.”
