Saif and Aamir Twined in for ‘Vikram Vedha’ Hindi Remake

With Hindi remakes taking a lot of popularity, even big stars are getting roped in for the same. The epic success of Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh, Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy, even the big producers are looking forward to buying the ownership rights of huge south Indian hits for crafting a Hindi remake in Bollywood. It has even been known that Karan Johar has been trailing ahead in getting the production rights for several Tamil hit films, too.

Sourcing a big news in this regard is that the two top rated Bollywood stars, Saif Ali Khan and Aamir Khan are going to be roped in for featuring in the Hindi remake of 2017 Tamil hit Vikram Vedha. The original film starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles however, that part will be played by Aamir and Saif for its Bollywood version in Hindi. The story of the film revolves around a modern day take on the folk tale of Raja Vikramaditya and the spirit Betal. Here, Vikram plays the role of a cop, who is in hot pursuit of a criminal named Vedha, who keeps tricking him all the time.

Though the cop manages to capture him a number of times, still Vedha always finds way to slip away from him after distracting him with his captivating story from his own life. Aamir Khan is reported to play the role of Vedha while Saif Ali Khan will be playing as the righteous cop who keeps chasing Vedha.
