Priyanka Chopra is all set to come to India after nearly three years. That’s right, Priyanka recently announced her return home by posting a photo of her boarding pass on her Instagram stories. She wrote alongside the photo, “Finally…going home. After almost 3 years.” It’d be Priyanka’s first trip to India since the COVID-19 pandemic and the birth of her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas in January.

Priyanka was supposed to return home in April of this year, but she did not. She told a news website in April that her brain has been taking nightly vacations, but she longs to return to India. Every state in India has its own written and spoken language, which means different alphabets, clothing, attire, foods, and holidays, according to the actress. Every time you cross the border in India, it’s like entering a new country. She claims that every time she returns home, she makes a point of taking a vacation and travelling.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas celebrated Diwali with their family and friends in Los Angeles, including Priyanka’s mother, Madhu Chopra. It was the first Diwali for their daughter Malti Marie. The actress shared adorable photos from the celebrations in which her family of three can be seen dressed in similar traditional attire.
In the caption, she wrote, “Love, peace and prosperity to all. From a heart truly laden with gratitude, I wish you all a Happy Diwali. Sorry I’m a little late but decided to stay in the moment just a little bit longer…From ours to yours. Love and light”
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcomed their daughter via surrogacy earlier this year, in January.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra has several projects in the works, including It’s All Coming Back To Me, Russo Brothers’ Citadel, and Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa, which co-stars Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
