Preparation Begins: Karan Johar scout locations for Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani
Filmmaker Karan Johar recently announced his new directorial venture Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film will be starring one of the most loved pairs of the industry, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. Taking the excitement to another level it has been reported that the filmmaker and his team are presently busy scouting locations for the much-anticipated film.
Karan Johar who is quite active on social media uploaded a selfie on his Instagram story and updated his fans about the film. He captioned it, “Get set go! #locationscout #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani.”
On July 6, that is Ranveer Singh’s birthday, the filmmaker revealed that he is going to make a film with the star and Alia will also accompany him in the film.
Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s pair is a super hit especially after their blockbuster film Gully Boy, since this is the second collaboration of the actors the expectations of the audience are quite high.
The film will also star legendary actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in Karan Johar’s upcoming directorial. According to the reports, Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan will play the part of Ranveer’s grandparents, while Alia Bhatt’s family is represented by Shabana Azmi.
The reports also suggested that Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani makers are eyeing to release the film in 2022. The film is written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy.
