Prashant Narayanan is an actor and hails from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. He was born on 31st March 1969 in Kerala. He was brought up in Delhi and did his schooling and college from Delhi. He did his graduation from Kirori Mal College from the Delhi University. He also is a sportsman, while he also joined theatre group known as Act 1. He headed to Mumbai to enter into the acting field. He worked as assistant director for few films including Rukmavati Ki Haveli, Saudagar and Sardari Begum working with filmmakers like Shyam Benegal, Govind Nihalani and Subhash Ghai.
He worked as a costume director in a couple of movies including Chanakya along with TV shows including Parivartan, Saturday Suspense, Phulwa, Farz, Gatha, Jaane Kahan Mera Jigar Gaya Ji, Shagun, and Kabhi Kabhie. He got the chance to work in TV shows like an actor including Oh Darling! Yeh Hai India!, Chhal, Mudda – The Issue, Waisa Bhi sizzlinga Hai Part II, Shadows of Time, Instant Karma, Bombil and Beatrice, Game, and Summer 2007 to name a few. Some of the TV shows include 7th Day, Amar Must Die, Mumbai Can Dance Saala, Manjhi – The Mountain Man, Kaun Ho, Edavappathy (The Monsoon), 10 Kalpanakal, Fredrick, Oru Cinemakkaran, and X-The Killer’s Theory.
His upcoming films include X-The Killer’s Theory, Chhichhore, Vartamaan, Bhawani Mandi and PM Narendra Modi. Talking about the awards, he was nominted at couple of award platforms bagging Screen Awards for the category of Screen Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role for the film Murder 2, he also bagged the Golden Achiever Awards for the Excellence In Arts.
